To mark the 26th Anniversary of the annual Ham Radio University educational conference on Long Island, Special Event Station W2HRU will be on-the-air from Monday, December 30, 2024 through the day of the event, Saturday, January 4, 2025.

Operating will be on SSB at various times on 3.923, 7.273, and 14.273 (+/- QRM) as well as on FT8 on multiple bands.

The Ham Radio University (HRU) educational conference will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2024 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Hillwood Commons Student Center on the campus of LIU Post college, 720 Northern Boulevard, Brookville, NY 11548.

W2HRU will be available to both guest operators and observers on-site at the conference.
