🍉 You’re Invited to the LIMARC Annual Picnic!

Bring your appetite! It’s time for the LIMARC Annual Picnic at beautiful Bethpage State Park! Join us on Sunday, August 3, 2025, for a day of food, fun, and friendship with your fellow LIMARC members and their families.

We’ll have plenty to eat and drink, and lots of shade to relax under plentiful trees. There’ll be some operating radios (possibly a POTA activation as well – we are LIMARC, after all!) and a Fox Hunt conducted on foot, with a brief hike through the woods. Festivities begin at 10 AM.

Whether you’re a new member or a seasoned Elmer, it’s the perfect chance to catch up, kick back, and enjoy the summer sun with your fellow hams. So grab your favorite picnic stuff, bring the family, and get ready for a great time. We can’t wait to see you there!

Take Route 135 (Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway) to Exit 8. Follow signs to Bethpage Park and turn into the park when you see this sign.

Follow the semi-winding road around until you see this next sign, which means YOU HAVE ARRIVED!

To the left is a roofed pavilion and you’ll find us in that area. Look for a good spot and don’t forget to pay for your parking ticket (unless you got your hands on the Empire Pass). The machine is at the other side of the parking lot, near the pavilion. The pavilion itself looks like this.
